Avocado Chocolate Pudding

Hello All!  Happy Friday!  Time for some choc-O-late!

This is not your average chocolate pudding.  This is made 1. from scratch and 2. with avocados!  Ahhh. Don't be scared.  You will never recognize the difference.  Pinky swear.  I made mine with dark chocolate unsweetened cocoa powder you can use regular.  I just love dark chocolate!

Making this with avocados gives our body healthy unsaturated fats that offer your body fuel and keep you full longer.  These healthy fats lower cholesterol and offer defense against cancer.  Avocados are rich in fiber, vitamin B6, folate, Vitamin C and K.  This is basically a Super Food for your body.  This is why this dessert is so awesome!  This chocolate pudding is not the same as traditional because it has no artificial sugars and does not contain empty calories (calories your body cannot use as fuel and instead get stored as fat).

I guarantee you feel good about eating this delightfully chocolaty, creamy pudding.  Guilt free!  Because after all it is good fuel for your body.  Yet, best of all it is made in 5 minutes with 5 simple ingredients!

Servings: 5 Size: 1/4-1/2 cup Calories: 159 Fat: 11.8g Carbs: 11g Fiber: 5.5g Protein: 3.1g Sugar: 12.4g Sodium: 129mg


  • 2 avocados
  • 1/3 cup Hersheys Unsweetened Cocoa powder
  • 2 tsp vanilla
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4   cup non fat milk
  • 2-3 tbsp. raw honey

Get Cooking:
Slice avocados in half scoop out inside into a food processor or blender.  Pulse and blend until smooth. Add remainder of ingredients and pulse until blended and beautiful chocolate texture.  You can add more honey if you would like it sweeter.  Yum, Yum!
